Hamden is unique, perhaps more so than other towns across Connecticut. We are a nostalgic blend of quintissential New England, mixed with a progressive urban and suburban poplation full of life, energy, and new ideas. We have residential farmers who have been with us since day's of old, and new, big businesses like Aldi's, Burlington Coat Factory and more right down the street. We've got fantastic youth sports teams, and a quick transit to see your favorite pros in Boston or NYC. We've got some of the best spring, summer, and fall events in the region - and your favorite spot to pull out your favorite book and enjoy the peace of a secluded park.
MANY would call Hamden "The Best of Both Worlds"
As with any of the best places to live (and we were named one by MONEY Magazine!), there are those unique issues we must tackle. I've outlined some of those issues, and how my administration has been tackling them. We've made substantial progress on many fronts, but there is still much more to accomplish. Check out how we can work together to keep Hamden moving forward!
